The Pet Show Arrives in Staffordshire

The fun filled animal-tastic Pet Show will be held for the first time at Staffordshire County Showground in 2017. Following four great years at Stoneleigh Park, in Warwickshire, The Pet Show team are excited about bringing the event to a different part of the country.

This year the show takes place on the 19th and 20th August. Some 17,000 people are expected to attend. Over the weekend visitors will overwhelmed with pet activities and shopping galore.

The Pet Show is the UK's largest indoor and outdoor pet event which also invites you to bring your dog along with you!

The Pet Show director Ian Sear said "the event is truly an experience for all, including the beloved family canine. There is so much to do: have a go at dog agility or cani-cross, watch the birds of prey flying displays or marvel at the dressage to music. If you love any animal it is a must attend show"

Visitors to the show can expect a variety of unique displays, have a go activities and loads of shopping. Features include:

- Dressage to music featuring former Team GB dressage rider Beverley Brightman

- Birds of Prey Flying Displays brought to you by The Falconry Centre

- Competitions: such as Dog Agility, a Fun Dog Show and Scurry Driving Championship

- Meet hundreds of animals; including 30 breeds of dogs, 20 breeds of cats, Alpacas, tortoises, hamsters, rats, rabbits, reptiles...the list goes on

- Have a Go Areas, where people who bring their dogs can try; fastest recall, agility, cani-cross, Steeplechase and much more.

- Shop till you drop with over 100 pet stands under one roof.
