A Wild Day Out Awaits at The Pet Show in Stafford this August

Summary: This year the popular Pet Show is being held over two days at Stafford County Showground. From the Pets Got Talent Live Finals to wild, exotic creatures, there’s something for everyone.

The Pet Show is a rare treat, held annually, for lovers of pets and those who enjoy learning more about our beloved animal companions. From cute and fluffy, to wild and scaly, there’s something for everyone.

With a jam packed schedule of pet-tastic activities, along with talks, demonstrations and live interactive shows, this is an event not to be missed.

What’s On at The Pet Show?

The Pet show is split into eight themed zones, which allows visitors to enjoy easy navigation around the wide variety of animals attending. Visitors are encouraged to get up close and personal with the dogs, cats, reptiles, birds and more. While experts are on hand to help and inform at all times.

There are plenty of exciting live demonstrations and displays which take place in two arenas. These run alongside the interactive pet exhibits, activities and over 100 trade stalls selling all you could ever need for your pet.

New to The Pet Show 2017 is the thrill a minute live finals of Pet's Got Talent. Auditions are taking place now but there is still time to enter by simply uploading a video via the Pet's Got Talent website. Fifty finalists, chosen by a panel of judges, will then be invited to battle it out live at the Pet Show in August. The winner will be awarded a contract with pet talent agency Urban Paws, along with becoming the face of K9 magazine for one edition.

With free parking, great facilities and refreshments on offer, visitors will enjoy a memorable day out at The Pet Show.

There is also plenty to keep children entertained with pet related crafts, competitions and displays, while adults will love the free samples and goody bag.

Guests can meet hundreds of animals, including: over 30 breeds of dogs, 20 breeds of cats, alpacas, parrots, jellyfish, giant land snails, exotic reptiles and much more.

Where and When?

The Pet Show is being held at the Stafford County Showground on the 19th & 20th of August. There is free parking on site and, of course, the event is dog friendly.
